Recently had some people get upset with me, because I didn’t allow them to be my friend on Facebook. I sent them a very nice response explaining that I only allow friends and family on my personal page. I even referred them to my professional page, as an alternative. They still got snitty with me…
Friendly reminder, people… In this advent of social media venues, your “connection” to another person is a privilege - not a requirement. You should always conduct yourself as you would if you were face-to-face.
